Surbhi stepped out of the shop carrying a large bag. She had changed out of her bridal lehenga into more comfortable clothes inside the store. Her mother Parul and Veer were already waiting beside the car. Clutching the bag tightly with both hands, Surbhi walked over to them and stopped in front of them.
She let out a long, relieved sigh. The tension that had been clinging to her face since they escaped seemed to fade ever so slightly.
